Building for Life is a collaboration between four different organisations – the Design Council, Design for Homes, Home Builders Federation and the Commission for Architecture and the Built Environment (CABE). The Built for Life commendation is supported by the government, and the Housing Minister recently presented awards to the latest developments to be awarded the accreditation. Developments don’t have to be built according to Built for Life principles, but there is growing recognition that developments that to are much more appealing to homebuyers.
In 2016 STEN Architecture gained Building for Life 12 outstanding award for this development in Kent.
